We are looking for a Portfolio Manager / Research Analyst with sustainability expertise to help build Thematica into a leader in green technology and innovation investments.

Responsibilities

• Pitch new investment opportunities through rigorous research.
• Research supply chains, identify bottlenecks and analyse individual companies.
• Attend industry events, company meetings and expert calls.
• Document research findings and report key performance metrics.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, announcements, earnings calls, and other key news events.
• Implement Sustainability & ESG guidelines that meets SFDR article 8 and 9 requirements.
• Support the investment team in identifying and assessing Sustainability & ESG factors during due diligence and potential investments.
• Monitor and report on ESG related implementation and result.
• Contribute to Thematica’s responsible investing strategic development and positioning.
• Identify and execute improvements in how Sustainability and ESG factors are implemented.
• Write fund commentaries and publish research.
• Place and coordinate orders.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in economics, business, environmental science, sustainability, or engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong interest and passion for investments, preferable with a focus on the energy transition.
• Industry certification such as CFA is a plus.
• Knowledge of working in Bloomberg Professional.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required, French and/or German is a plus.
